Happy Independence Day, Israel!
Today Israel celebrates its 76th Independence Day. Many Jews who left Šeduva and other Lithuanian shtetls participated in building Israel, literally laying the foundations of its statehood. Today, descendants of those Jews cherish and safeguard Israel's independence. The Lost Shtetl team congratulates Israel, and wishes all sons and daughters of Israel to return home, prosperity, and a secure life - Am Israel Chai!
